
Personal Injury and Commercial Litigation are the practice areas to which Steve devotes most of his time. Motor Vehicle Accidents are a large part of the Personal Injury practice. Steve earned his law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School, and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto. Steve has been called to the Bar in both Ontario (1980) and British Columbia (2003). He is a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, and the American Association of Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America). In addition to legal training and experience. Steve also has an extensive Canadian and American background in management consulting, business teaching & training, entrepreneurial activity, finance, and banking.
After law school, Steve was recruited by the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and worked as Senior Manager in Toronto and Vancouver in Project Finance, Corporate Banking, and National Accounts. Activities included working with the bank's senior executive in high profile lending and recovery situations. While at CIBC, Steve earned the designation of Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers.
After CIBC, Steve held executive positions in Canada and the United States, with the most recent being with the State of Oregon University System and the State of Oregon Economic & Community Development Department.
